Juntos Aprendemos

USAID Colombia’s Juntos Aprendemos (Together We Learn, TWL) activity (2021–2026) enhances access and retention to the Colombian education system for migrant and Colombian returnee children and adolescents. The program promotes the skills and conditions necessary for these students to remain in school and complete their education. Building on investments by the Ministry of Education, the Colombian Migration Agency, and local governments, TWL strengthens their capacity to enroll over 610,000 migrant children and adolescents in public schools. It also provides tools and opportunities to help anchor these children and their families in Colombia. A critical component includes supporting the regularization of migrant children’s legal status, reducing the likelihood of continued migratory journeys.

The USAID Colombia Juntos Aprendemos (TWL) program enhances U.S. national interests by addressing critical issues of migration, security, and regional stability through helping Venezuelan migrants and their families stay in Colombia through access to education and other related services.
