Sasha Lishansky

Sasha Lishansky is a Project Coordinator in Partners’ Mexico Office.
 
She previously served as a Senior Program Officer with the Labor Unit and as a Program Officer with the Agriculture & Food Security Unit. In these roles, Sasha provided backstopping support to the USDOL-funded MAP and Empowering Women in the Mexican Workplace projects, as well as the USAID-funded RANFOSE program.
 
Prior to Partners, Sasha has followed a meandering and purpose-driven professional path that includes founding a nonprofit supporting refugee women and children in France, providing environmental education to schoolchildren in Mexico’s Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve, and co-founding an applied research firm focused on sustainability. Sasha is passionate about sustainable and equitable food and water systems and feels motivated to make the world a better place for future generations.
 
Sasha has a Masters Degree in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Literature and Language from Northwestern University, where she graduated summa cum laude and joined the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
