Lizeth Gómez Niño is the Contracts and Compliance Director for the Cacao for Development Projects (C4D). She is responsible for awarding and monitoring contracts and grants signed by the project, as well as ensuring legal review and compliance with the regulations established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Lizeth has over nine years of experience in managing grants and procurement processes for projects focused on strengthening grassroots organizations and vulnerable populations in various Colombian regions. She has previously been involved in USAID-funded projects in Colombia, such as the Local Health System Sustainability Project (LHSS Colombia), the Justice for Sustainable Peace Program (JSP Program), and the Conservation and Governance Program in the Amazonian Piedmont (C&G Program). Lizeth is a lawyer specializing in human rights and international humanitarian law.
