Ana Carolina Rubi is the Senior Director of the Education Unit at Partners of the Americas. She was the former Director of the Child Protection Unit. Ana has over 22 years of work experience, 18 of which are in the international development field relating to youth, education, and workforce development.
Before working at Partners, Ana worked for seven years at USAID/Honduras as a project management specialist in the education office. There, she led the design and managed several projects in the education of crisis and conflict and workforce development projects. Prior to joining USAID, Ana worked for the Education Development Center (EDC) as a workforce development specialist. She also worked for the Spanish Agency for International Development (AECID) as a project director of a workforce development program.
Before that, she was the executive director and founder of the Fundación Comayagua Colonial which implements vocational training related to cultural heritage. She holds postgraduate studies in Business Management Techniques from the University of Barcelona, a master’s degree in Local Development from UNITEC, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
