Stephanie Sánchez, Labor Specialist for the Mexico Awareness Raising program, is a lawyer from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C. (CIDE), with experience in both the private and public sectors. She has experience in drafting regulations that impact businesses and employees. Her experience in collective labor law began as Deputy Director of Regulation at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, where she assessed the procedures for legitimization of collective labor contracts. Later, as Deputy Director of verification monitoring at the Federal Center of Conciliation and Labor Register (CFCRL), she participated in the organization of voting to obtain certificates of representation and to elect union leadership, also she held consultations with electronic voting, trained verifiers, and resolved complaints about union democracy procedures.
