Mario José Betin Causil

Mario José Betin Causil is a Field Technician in cacao and agroforestry for the Cacao for Development Project (C4D). He is currently providing technical assistance to producers and associations in the municipality of Nariño, Antioquia, focusing on agronomic and commercial aspects of cacao. As a Technologist in Ecological Agricultural Production, Mario has 4 years of experience in international cooperation projects, offering technical support across various value chains, including cacao, coffee, rubber, livestock, beekeeping, and fruits and vegetables. His experience has been gained through work with numerous projects and associations aimed at improving the productivity of the agricultural sector in Colombia. He is currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science, studying in his fifth semester at the National Open and Distance University (UNAD).
