The President of Partners of the Americas’ Venezuela Chapter, Yraima Méndez, addressed her members at the start of the new year to discuss how the Chapter would overcome the obstacles that have impeded their development and growth.
It is time to resume what has been postponed, conclude what has been started, and formalize what has been promised. Time, the particular circumstances of the country, and the absence of economic, financial, and material resources have become great barriers that with ingenuity, together we could overcome if we set our minds to it.
We have to strengthen ourselves in these difficult times, we must soon achieve the willingness to begin what was planned, conclude what is pending, obtain results, and find solutions.
Let us strengthen the faith in which it is possible to realize dreams, with the certain hope that we will be able to do so by overcoming difficulties. We will have better times and circumstances if we insist on working, creating productive ideas, increasing optimism, and on not letting ourselves be overwhelmed by the obstacles encountered.
Let’s not delay making decisions to achieve what we believe is important, let’s seek the strength to overcome pessimism, the fear that we have no chances, that the pitfalls encountered prevent us from continuing in our efforts to move forward and be the best.
God bless our families and friends who have accompanied us with joy and conviction that “‘connecting, serving, and changing lives” for the better is a laudable mission.
