Walter Manrique is a Senior Value Chain Strengthening Specialist for the Cacao for Development Project (C4D). Walter is a Business Administrator from Universidad Externado de Colombia and Marketing Administrator from Politécnico Grancolombiano, with additional studies in Development Project Management, International Cooperation and Territorial Economic Development. He has more than 18 years of experience working in the private sector in the areas of Marketing and Commercialization, in the public sector managing social and productive projects of cacao, specialty coffees, beekeeping, fruit, fish farming, handicrafts, and nature tourism in different entities of the federal government. In addition, he has worked to promote rural enterprises and commercial and public-private alliances. Walter is part of Acumen’s first cohort of Fellows and Agents of Social Change in Peacebuilding and has participated in TED Talks.
