Julio César Oliva is a Field Technician in cacao and agroforestry for the Cacao for Development Project (C4D). He has over 7 years of experience in the agricultural field, working with crops such as cacao, mango, yuca, plantain, and oil palm, and has expertise in irrigation, production, and propagation of plant material. He has held roles such as biofactory coordinator, forestry supervisor, cacao extension technician, and field technician in carbon credit parcel assessments. He is a Technologist in irrigation, drainage, and agricultural soil management, a Technician in environmental management systems, and is currently studying Agronomy at the National Open and Distance University (UNAD). He is known for his strong humanistic approach, conciliatory and tolerant nature, analytical skills, leadership, teamwork, and commitment to the development of sustainable production processes.
