Hernán Ramírez Cardozo is a Field Technician in Cacao and Agroforestry at the departmental level for the Cacao for Development Project (C4D). He is responsible for providing technical assistance with a focus on rural extension in cacao cultivation and agroforestry, continuously teaching and training producers to improve both the quality of their crops and their quality of life. Hernán has 12 years of experience in rural extension, with 9 years dedicated to cacao. He has previously worked with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Fedecacao, and the Luker Foundation on the “El Efecto Cacao” project. He is a Technologist in Agricultural Sciences.
