Azucena Aguirre Crespo

Azucena Aguirre Crespo is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Empowering Women in the Mexican Workplace project.

Since 2006, Azucena has been involved in addressing social issues such as HIV, violence, crime, and workplace inequalities. Her professional performance has focused on the design, management, monitoring, and evaluation of national and international projects. She has collaborated with institutions such as the National Institute of Public Health, the Instituto Mora, FUNSALUD, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Azucena is a Doctoral Candidate in Political and Social Sciences – International Relations at UNAM (2021), holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation for Development from the Instituto Mora (2010), and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Administration from the Universidad La Salle (2006).
