High-Level Roundtable on Food Security Held in Washington, D.C

Partners of the Americas and the Global Flagship Initiative for Food Security convened a high-level roundtable on October 17, 2025, at K&L Gates LLP in Washington, D.C., bringing together leaders from government, international organizations, philanthropy, civil society, academia, and the private sector.

With a full room and robust virtual participation, the session focused on advancing transformative solutions to global hunger and strengthening financing models to scale food security initiatives. Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue on locally-led development, innovative funding mechanisms, and strategic partnerships to accelerate impact.

During the event, partners shared updates on the Global Flagship Initiative’s recent milestones and growth to 80+ global members, highlighted the launch of the Civil Society Workstream, and explored bankable project opportunities designed to strengthen food and agriculture systems worldwide.
