EGC Program Internship

Partners of the Americas seeks a passionate and knowledgeable intern for the Education & Global Citizenship Unit, primarily to work on assignments related to the 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund. In collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and NAFSA: Association of International Educators, Partners of the Americas administers this capacity-building and grantmaking program to support colleges, universities, and other post-secondary institutions throughout the Western Hemisphere to develop part¬nerships that make international study and training more broadly available to all students.

The Intern, Education & Global Citizenship Unit will support the Innovation Fund in the day-to-day activities required to promote current and upcoming grant opportunities and events to networks of higher education institutions, implement orientation and follow-up phases with award recipients, and report on project outcomes.

EGC Communications Internship

Partners of the Americas seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Communications intern for the Education & Global Citizenship Unit to work remotely, primarily on assignments related to the marketing of the 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund. In collaboration with the U.S. Department of State, Partners of the Americas administers this capacity-building and grant-making program to support colleges, universities, and other post-secondary institutions throughout the Western Hemisphere to develop part¬nerships that make international study and training more broadly available to all students.

The Communications Intern, Education & Global Citizenship Unit will support the Innovation Fund in the day-to-day activities required to promote grant opportunities and events to networks of higher education institutions, support/build the online presence of the Innovation Fund, and assist with the completion of stakeholder reports. The intern will also be expected to work on projects and initiatives designed to convey the impact of the Innovation Fund on beneficiary institutions and students from throughout the Americas.

Communications Internship — Fall 2021

Partners of the Americas is currently looking for an enthusiastic student to participate in our 2021 Fall Communication Internship to assist the Communications Officer. This position calls for an energetic and well-organized individual with excellent writing, proofreading, and interpersonal skills.

Education & Global Citizenship (Exchanges Programming & Grants Management)

Partners of the Americas seeks a self-motivated and detailed-oriented intern to support tasks involving the recruitment, application, selection, and monitoring of individual grants competitions for programs under the Education and Global Citizenship unit. Partners of the Americas administers the U.S. Exchange Alumni Network and Capacity Building Program to engage U.S. alumni of U.S. Department of State programs to expand upon their exchange experience and use skills developed abroad to address shared challenges through regional professional development seminars across the U.S. and a small grants program competition. Additionally, this position supports tasks leading up to the implementation of the Buenos Aires Provincial Youth Leaders program including planning and design, and support the day to day activities required to execute the orientation, travel, and follow-up phases of the programs taking place in the "sending" country, Washington, DC, and a "host" US state/Latin American country. Interns may also support other event planning initiatives such as Career Connections seminars. 

Finance and Accounting Internship 

Partners of the Americas seeks a detail -oriented and dedicated intern to provide integral support to its Finance and Administration (F&A) unit. F&A oversees all of the financial, administrative and accounting functions for Partners of the Americas, domestically and overseas. This is a unique learning experience for those studying finance or accounting to expand their skills in the non-profit sector. 

Business Management Internship Program 

Partners of the Americas is currently looking for enthusiastic students to participate in our Business Management Internship program to assist the Executive Office. This position calls for an energetic and well organized individual with excellent writing, proofreading, and interpersonal skills.
