Every day, Partners of the Americas collaborates with individuals and organizations around the world to eradicate poverty. The coronavirus pandemic this year has hurt communities experiencing poverty the hardest, yet we are finding ways to work through it to achieve social and environmental justice for all. This International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, we’re highlighting the steps our programs, projects, and members have taken to end poverty during COVID-19.
Partners of the Americas was delighted to welcome students from the Buenos Aires Provincial Youth Leaders Program to Washington, D.C. on September 7. This group of nine high-school students, along with one mentor, is the first cohort to visit the United States through this program. In partnership with America Solidaria, the program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State through the Embassy of Argentina in the U.S.

In commemoration of International Youth Day, Partners of the Americas is proud to support the United Nations in celebrating the power of youth as agents of change. This year’s theme is “Transforming Education,” centering on making education more inclusive and accessible for all youth.

Happy International Women´s Day. Today, Partners of the Americas celebrates International Women's Day. This year's theme is #BalanceforBetter, which calls for gender equity around the world, including in workplaces, governments, and the media.

Partners of the Americas is driven by our members and we always need to ensure that we recognize and celebrate those spectacular volunteers, donors and other supporters who have contributed to Partners’ success each year. We presented awards to esteemed individuals during the What Works 2018 Conference Gala Dinner at El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel on December 6.
Partners of the Americas kicked off its fourth annual What Works Conference on December 4. For four days, 115 change-agents gathered from 27 Chapters and eight countries to strengthen inter-institutional partnerships and power greater connectivity across the Partners network.
