Civil society can be a powerful agent for change. We’re committed to expanding, strengthening and institutionalizing civil society participation to promote good governance, rule of law, and government transparency and accountability.
Citizens Working for Justice Program
From 2002 to 2008, we organized and strengthened 120+ Bolivian civil society organizations to support, advocate for and educate the public on justice reform. Across the nation, we improved access to and participation in the justice system, especially for vulnerable populations and frequent victims of crime.
American Fellows Program
From 2003 to 2012, Partners ran two-way exchanges for public and private sector professionals to engage in hands-on assistance with counterpart agencies in Latin America and the Caribbean. By the end of the program in 2012, more than 240 Government and Business Fellows participated in the program.
