2019 Year in Review

We have compiled our top 2019 highlights from each of the four units: the Education and Global Citizenship Unit, the Economic Development and Health Unit, the Child Protection Unit, and the Membership Unit. We are excited for all of the life-changing partnerships to come in 2020.

Arkansas-Eastern Bolivia Chapter Best Practices: Youth Ambassadors Program

180766_188175971204449_2406948_N (1).jpegThe Arkansas-Eastern Bolivia Chapter, which started in 1965, has led numerous exchanges primarily in the areas of health, agriculture, culture, and education. Their Youth Ambassadors (YA) Program is one of the Chapter’s most successful initiatives and therefore a best practice.

Advancing Children's Dreams, Reducing Child Labor

Annual Report - EducaFuturo EpC 1 - Javiera Salinas (1).jpgChildren shouldn’t work in fields, but on dreams. Yet one in 19 children is engaged in child labor in the Americas, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. This year, Partners of the Americas commemorates World Day Against Child Labor by striving for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Target 8.7, which calls for an end to all child labor by 2025.

What Works 2018 Awards Ceremony

11 (2).jpgPartners of the Americas is driven by our members and we always need to ensure that we recognize and celebrate those spectacular volunteers, donors and other supporters who have contributed to Partners’ success each year. We presented awards to esteemed individuals during the What Works 2018 Conference Gala Dinner at El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel on December 6.​
